"You are both special in every way,
Encouraging me more & more each passing day.
You both are the reason why I'm so strong,
With you two a the helm not a thing could go wrong.
You've both helped me through many trials & tribulations,
You've made things better in every situation.
Thank you both for always being there,
And showing me that you truly care.
Words could never explain how I feel about you,
But I hope you know that I truly love you two!"
The interesting effect that is used within the poem is rhyming, which is what make the poem sound so sweet and meaningful. I really liked how the poem ended with "I truly love you two!" because they mean "two" as in parents, but one can also take it as "too." This poem really illustrates how I feel towards my parents because there are no words that could ever explain how I feel about them both.

I LOVE this poem. I'm glad you realise how the importance of your parents; some people don't have the opportunity to know who their parents are. I like the line where the author says "Thank you" to her parents. Not many of us remember to thank our parents for everything they've done for us. What line sticks out more to you and why?
ReplyDeleteOh questions-questions. Not much to give Tiffany, i will say the picture is funny when you combine it with the poem; the girl pulling away from her parents in the picture. I feel like that's you!
ReplyDeleteJackie, I know thanks. Not that many children appreciate what they have until it is gone. My favorite part I would have to say is last stance because that saying is pretty similar to what I say to my parents when I tell them how I feel about them.
ReplyDeleteMathias, it was a bad choice of picture but hey both my parents are in it so that is what counts!
